21 Savage Bio

21 Savage was born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, born on October 22, 1992 , in Dominica which is an island situated in the Caribbean. When his family relocated to America, he spent his teenage years in Dacatur, a rough neighborhood of East Atlanta, Georgia. He was used to violence and crime, and he was also an petty criminal within his "21" group. They would rob and hustle in the streets. He started dealing with drugs at the age of 14 years old. The rapper was arrested several times, mostly for possession of drugs. 21 Savage is a rapper, and father of two kids was already 19 years old. Savage was killed by two attackers during a drug deal that became an attempted robbery at the age of 21. In the course of the assault, he lost his friend and his brother. In tribute to his brother his dagger was tattooed between his eyes. After the horrific incident that took place at the age of 21, 21 Savage realized that he was tired of living life as a thug. As a way to escape the street, he turned to hip-hop. He began investing the money he earned on the streets, and he also recorded at Patchwerk Studios. He began to think about his life and his music and Metro Boomin became interested in him. 21 Savage released "The Slaughtertape" his first mixtape on May 25, 2015. Just two months after the release of "The Slaughter Tape", he unleashed "Free Guwop EP" in honour of his fellow rapper and influencer Gucci Mane.
