Rosie Alice Huntington-Whiteley Bio

Rosie Alice Huntington Whiteley was born on April 18, 1987. She is best known for her work with the lingerie store Victoria's Secret, formerly being one of their brand "Angels" and for being the face of Burberry's 2011 brand fragrance "Burberry Body" as well as for her collaboration with Marks & Spencer, and in the last few months for her collaboration with the denim-focused brand Paige. In her transition to acting, she played supporting roles in the film Carly Spencer in the 2011 film Transformers: Dark of the Moon the third film in the Transformers film series, as well as The Splendid Angharad in the film of 2015 Mad Max: Fury Road. Huntington-Whiteley is the daughter of Fiona Jackson (nee Jackson) and Charles, a chartered engineer. Her siblings include a brother as well as an older sister. She was born on an estate in Devon near Tavistock. As her patrilineal grandfather, Wing-Commander Eric Huntington Whiteley JP, is the nephew of George Whiteley 1st baron Marchamley and younger son of Sir Herbert Huntington Whiteley 1st baronet Eric's wife Rosie is from an ethnically Polish family that relocated to England in the 1870s. Rosie's paternal grandparents, Gillian was is also from a Jewish family was the daughter of Jacob Franks, a prominent surgeon in Sussex. Educated at Tavistock College, she later confessed that she was harassed and teased at school because of her double-barrelled name, a small breast and large lips.
