American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey, born on the 9th of August 1972 is an American. She has played the roles of Emily Ann Sago on the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty on the 2001 television series The Tick as well as Wendy Simms on the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Nikki Beaumont is the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was Emily Ann Sago, a teenager, in the All My Children's soap from 1988 to 1991. Vassey appeared as a regular actor on the TV show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as the character Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's regular character, from 2005 to 2010. Since the 10th season, Vassey was promoted to an actor on the regular roster and started appearing in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported June 1 the 1st of June, 2010 that Vassey will not be returning for the 11th season of the show. Vassey appeared in one episode of the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, she and her co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company named Neurosis to an T(ee) that makes and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are a fun way to mock female worries and neuroses. They usually refer to relationships.
