Markie Post
Markie Post grew up in Walnut Creek,
California and began her career in films and TV shows, including Card Sharks
(1978) and "The New Card Sharks" (1986) and continued to make
projects like Double Dare (1976) and has made appearances on such TV shows like
1st to Die (2003), E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman and Dyna
Girl (2001). Her most famous TV performance was as "Christine
Sullivan" in Night Court (1984). From 1984 until 1992, she was part of 156
episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post was her mother. She is famous for her poetry
and as a nuclear scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918-April 7,
2015). Alongside her second husband Michael A. Ross, she had two children:
Katie Ross (born June 26 June 26, 1986) and Daisy Ross (30 March 1990). was
born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut Creek, California. As an
athletics coach, she attended Las Lomas High school located in Walnut Creek.
She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Lewis & Clark College,
Portland Oregon. She was a trick roper on The Wildest West Show of the Stars
(1986). Was cremated and her ashes returned to her husband Michael A. Ross. She
was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post passed away on the 7th of August in 2021.
She died three months before what would be her 71st birthday on November 4. She
passed away 27 days following Charles Robinson, her Night Court (1984) co-star,
passed away on the 11th of July 2021. Though they were two completely different
shows Night Court (1984), which she played ended in 1992 when Christine
Sullivan leaving for Washington DC. Hearts Afire (1992) where Post was a new
character Georgie Lahti (who actually had previously worked in Washington DC
before moving to the smaller city) was released in 1992.
